Regularly scheduled Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month in the Assembly Room of the San Bernardino Community College District offices at 114 S. Del Rosa Drive, San Bernardino, or as otherwise specified by previous Board action.
About the Agenda
The agenda is the official document by which college and district business is transacted. It is posted 72 hours prior to each regular meeting of the Board and 24 hours prior to each special meeting. Copies of the agenda may be obtained in the Chancellor's office during regular office hours prior to the Board meeting or in the Assembly Room at the start of the meeting.
Addressing the Board
Any individual or group spokesperson may address the Board. To present a matter before the Board, the following procedure should be observed:
Persons wishing to address the Board concerning an item on the agenda shall notify the Chancellor prior to the Board meeting. Such persons shall be recognized by the Board President at the time the subject is under consideration and shall identify himself/herself for the public record.
No action can be taken by the Board on any item which does not appear on the agenda. An urgent matter may be raised during the section entitled "Public Comment: Letters and Remarks from Interested Citizens." Comments may be made and a request may be submitted that the item be placed on a subsequent agenda.
