A public forum for the candidates under consideration for the top leadership position at San Bernardino Valley College has been scheduled for Thursday, May 2, at 9:00 a.m. in the SBVC Library Viewing Room.
Organized by the SBVC Academic Senate, the free forum is open to the public and will be streamed live on the web. The names and bios of the finalists for the position will be announced on April 30 or May 1 and posted on the SBVC website at www.valleycollege.edu.
The structure of the forums will begin with Candidate A from 9-10 a.m., followed by Candidate B from 10:30-11:30 a.m., and concluding with Candidate C from 12 – 1 p.m. If there are fewer than three candidates, the forum will end after Candidate B. Each candidate will have the opportunity to make opening and closing statements. All questions will come from the floor. Evaluations will be distributed after each candidate’s forum, and the results will be tabulated and shared with SBCCD Chancellor Bruce Baron on Friday, May 3.
The forums will be streamed live and will remain available for viewing for a week after the initial live webcasts. Live stream available at http://valleycollege.edu/PresidentForum
