Dr. Donald L. Singer, San Bernardino Community College Trustee, was reappointed to the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) by California Community Colleges Chancellor Jack Scott.
The mission of the FCMAT is to help local educational agencies fulfill their financial and management responsibilities by providing fiscal advice, management assistance, training, and other related school business services. Originally formed of 23 K-12 representatives, AB 1366 recently added the Chancellor of the California Community Colleges or his designee and a member of a community college district government board. Dr. Singer is that member.
"I am pleased to continue serving as the representative for the community colleges," says Dr. Singer.
Singer was elected to the SBCCD board in 2001 and currently serves as Clerk of the Board. The San Bernardino Community College District is comprised of San Bernardino Valley College, Crafton Hills College, the Professional Development Center and KVCR-FM/TV.
